Chipotle Gouda & Chorizo Chicken Sausage Galette

Delight in bold flavor enveloped in a crispy crust. This gratifying galette is filled with melted Bold Chipotle Gouda Cheese and topped with robust, spicy Chorizo Chicken Sausage and sliced tomatoes for full-bodied flavor.

White onion, thinly sliced
1sheet
Ready-bake pie crust
8oz
Boar's Head Chipotle Gouda Cheese, grated
1pack
Boar's Head Chorizo All Natural Chicken Sausage, sliced into coins
1cup
Cherry tomatoes, halved
1
Egg, beaten
 
Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. 02Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and sauté until softened and slightly browned.
  3. 03Place the pie crust on a baking sheet and sprinkle the cheese in the center of the dough, leaving a 3-inch border of the crust.
  4. 04Place the onions over the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Arrange the sausage coins and tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  5. 05Fold the edges of the pie crust over to form a galette crust, then brush with the egg wash.
  6. 06Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese has melted and crust is golden brown.
  7. 07Garnish with cilantro.
