Boar's Head® Dark Chocolate Dessert Hummus Cannoli

Serve a lighter version of an Italian favorite for an irresistible pleasure at your next gathering. Each enchanting bite exemplifies the rich flavors of our Dark Chocolate Hummus balanced with a classic cannoli shell.

Cannoli shells

Pistachios, crushed

Instructions


  1. 01Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between until melted completely.
  2. 02Dip the edges of the cannoli shells in the melted chocolate, then sprinkle pistachio on top. Let the shells dry completely before filling, about 30 minutes.
  3. 03Spoon the dark chocolate hummus into a pastry bag fitted with a stylish tip. Evenly pipe filling into each cannoli shell.
  4. 04If desired, place a candied orange peel on the filling of each end of cannoli.
  5. 05Before serving, sprinkle cannoli with powdered sugar for an added touch.
