Whipped Goat Cheese with Peas & Crispy Prosciutto

Bright, tangy and satisfyingly smooth, this festive spring side features Chévre Goat Cheese and sautéed peas with a crisp addition of buttery Prosciutto di Parma. The perfect complement to Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham, whip up this dish in no time!

Boar's Head Brown Sugar & Spice Ham Glaze Cooking Sauce
1cup
Water
 
Header, Sautéed Peas
2tbsp
Olive Oil
1
Shallot, sliced thin
1pack
Boar's Head Prosciutto di Parma®, julienned
1cup
Frozen peas, thawed
1cup
Sugar snap peas, sliced
 
Header, Whipped Goat Cheese
2
Boar's Head Chèvre Goat Cheese
3tbsp
Cream Cheese, room temperature
1tbsp
Olive Oil
½tsp
Lemon zest

Instructions


  1. 01Prepare Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham according to package directions.
  2. 02Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallot and cook until the slices are translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. 03Add the julienned prosciutto, breaking pieces apart as needed.
  4. 04Mix in both peas, and allow to cook until softened, stirring occasionally. If the prosciutto is crispy, remove from heat and set aside.
  5. 05In the bowl of a food processor, pulse the goat cheese, cream cheese, olive oil and lemon zest until smooth and well combined. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  6. 06Carve the prepared Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham according to package directions.
  7. 07Dress individual plates with a spread of whipped goat cheese, slices of ham and top with sautéed peas.
