Garlic-Herbed Parmesan Biscuit Sandwich

Ready-bake biscuits1
Egg, for wash1tsp
Garlic Powder1tsp
Dried Parsley4oz
Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated2
Boar's Head® Breakfast All Natural* Pork Sausage8oz
Blanc Grue Gruyere Cheese, sliced thin8
Egg, scrambledInstructions
- 01Remove biscuit dough from the container and preheat oven according to package directions. Place the biscuits on a prepared baking sheet.
- 02In a small mixing bowl, beat one egg and stir in garlic powder, a sprinkle of salt and pepper and dried parsley.
- 03Brush the egg wash mixture across the tops of each biscuit, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 04Bake the biscuits according to the package directions.
- 05Meanwhile, heat the pork sausage patties according to package directions.
- 06Once the biscuits are done, slice in half crosswise.
- 07Evenly layer the sausage patty, gruyere cheese and scrambled eggs on the bottom slice of each biscuit.
- 08Replace the biscuit tops and serve.
