Garlic-Herbed Parmesan Biscuit Sandwich

Ingredients

Ready-bake biscuits
1
Egg, for wash
1tsp
Garlic Powder
 
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1tsp
Dried Parsley
4oz
Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated

Boar's Head® Breakfast All Natural* Pork Sausage
8oz
Blanc Grue Gruyere Cheese, sliced thin

Egg, scrambled

Instructions


  1. 01Remove biscuit dough from the container and preheat oven according to package directions. Place the biscuits on a prepared baking sheet.
  2. 02In a small mixing bowl, beat one egg and stir in garlic powder, a sprinkle of salt and pepper and dried parsley.
  3. 03Brush the egg wash mixture across the tops of each biscuit, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  4. 04Bake the biscuits according to the package directions.
  5. 05Meanwhile, heat the pork sausage patties according to package directions.
  6. 06Once the biscuits are done, slice in half crosswise.
  7. 07Evenly layer the sausage patty, gruyere cheese and scrambled eggs on the bottom slice of each biscuit.
  8. 08Replace the biscuit tops and serve.
