Ingredients

1
Hamburger patty, (approximately 4–6 oz)
1
Hamburger bun
1oz
Creamy Blue Cheese, sliced
2slices
Butcher Craft® Extra Thick Cut Naturally Smoked Bacon, Product of Canada
1leaf
Leaf lettuce
1slice
Ripe tomato
¼cup
Crispy fried onions
½tbsp
Pepperhouse Gourmaise® Spread

Instructions

  1. 01Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, allowing it to reach optimal temperature for a perfect sear.
  2. 02Place the hamburger patty on the preheated grill and cook for 4–5 minutes on the first side until nicely browned and a flavorful crust forms. Flip once and continue grilling to your desired level of doneness (approximately 3–4 minutes for medium).
  3. 03During the last minute of cooking, place the Boar's Head® Creamy Blue Cheese on top of the burger patty, allowing it to melt into the patty.
  4. 04While the burger grills, prepare the bacon according to package directions.
  5. 05Lightly place the hamburger bun on the grill for 1–2 minutes, cut-side down, until just warmed and lightly toasted.
  6. 06Layer the bottom piece of the toasted bun with the leaf lettuce, allowing it to soften slightly from the warmth of the bun.
  7. 07Top the lettuce with the ripe tomato slice.
  8. 08Place the grilled burger patty with melted blue cheese on top of the tomato.
  9. 09Scatter additional blue cheese crumbles across the warm patty, then arrange the crispy bacon pieces on top.
  10. 10Top the bacon with the crispy fried onions.
  11. 11Spread the Boar's Head® Pepperhouse Gourmaise® Spread on the inside of the top bun.
  12. 12Place the top bun on the burger and serve immediately.
