Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham & Havarti Cheese Breakfast Tart

Get the morning off to a good start with a savory tart. Our buttery Cream Havarti Cheese is melted over golden pastries and topped with pan fried eggs and our traditional Sweet Slice® Uncured Ham for breakfast bliss.

Ingredients

Puff Pastry
1lb
Boar's Head Cream Havarti Cheese, shredded
4oz
Boar's Head Sweet Slice® Smoked Ham, sliced thin
4
Egg
1cup
Fresh Arugula
1tbsp
Olive Oil

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 02On a lightly-floured surface, roll out the pastry sheet until it’s just the size of the baking sheet.
  3. 03Carefully roll about ½-inch of each side in on itself toward the center to form the crust of the tart. Poke the bottom of the crust with a fork to keep the pastry from puffing up. Par-bake until the edges puff and the top is a pale golden-brown, about 10 minutes.
  4. 04Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded havarti evenly over the pastry.
  5. 05Bake until the pastry is crisp and golden-brown, about 10 minutes.
  6. 06Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium-low heat and pan fry the eggs, sunny side up, until the egg whites are set.
  7. 07Top the baked pastry with eggs, ham, arugula and a drizzle of olive oil.
  8. 08Slice and serve.
