Custom Grilled Cheese Bar
Bring your friends together with a custom grilled cheese bar. When you pair your favorite Boar's Head® cheeses with an endless display of toppings, it's bound to be a crowd pleaser.

Artisanal sandwich bread, sliced thin (Country-Style, Sourdough, Ciabatta)Instructions
- 01Slice your favorite breads. As a general rule of thumb, plan on one loaf of bread per 4 servings.
- 02Choose your cheese variety, planning on at least 2-3 slices per sandwich. To ensure your guests can create a melty grilled cheese, opt for softer cheeses, as recommended.
- 03Pick your topping options. The size of your crowd will determine how many toppings you may want to include, but meats, veggies, and even fruit or condiments allow your guests to get creative. Wash, then slice or chop your fruits and vegetables, and prepare your bacon, caramelized onions and any additional toppings as needed.
- 04With your cheeses and toppings labeled, allow your guests to choose their toppings and layer the ingredients on their sandwiches. Heat a cast-iron skillet on medium-low heat and spread butter on both sides of each sandwich. Grill in skillet until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes per side.
