Cheesy Baked Asparagus

Crunchy vegetables meet warm, cheesy goodness in this timeless side dish. Combine tender asparagus, melty Parmigiano Reggiano, and shredded Fresh Mozzarella Cheese for the ultimate combination of sensational flavors.

Fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
¼cup
Chicken broth
½cup
Heavy cream

Garlic, minced
1cup
Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, freshly grated
1cup
Boar's Head® Fresh Mozzarella, shredded
 
Boar's Head Fully Cooked Bacon, optional
 
Black pepper
 
Sea Salt

Instructions


  1. 01Preheat oven to 400º.
  2. 02Place asparagus in a baking dish and pour the heavy cream and chicken broth over top.
  3. 03Sprinkle with garlic, freshly grated parmesan, shredded mozzarella and cooked bacon crumbles. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. 04Bake until cheese is melted and the asparagus is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
