PitCraft® Turkey & Havarti Grilled Cheese

Crispy sourdough bread houses sweet yellow onions, PitCraft® Slow Smoked Turkey and melty Havarti Cheese for a masterful take on a classic grilled cheese.

Ingredients

Olive Oil

Yellow Onion, sliced

Sourdough Bread
2tbsp
Garlic butter, softened
1oz
Hot Pepper Jelly
4oz
Bold PitCraft® Slow Smoked Turkey Breast, sliced thin
oz
Boar's Head Cream Havarti Cheese, sliced thin

Instructions


  1. 01In a small skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion in olive oil until soft and fragrant. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. 02Top one slice of bread with the pepper jelly, half of the cheese, the sauteed onions, turkey and the rest of the cheese. Place the other slice of bread on the sandwich.
  3. 03Melt the garlic butter on a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill the sandwich until the bread is crisp and golden brown and the cheese has melted. About 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 04Slice diagonally and serve.
