Breakfast Sausage Patty Scramble with Johnny Cake

Boar’s Head® Vermont Cheddar Cheese, Sliced
3each
Egg, Beaten

Caramelized onions, Prepared
oz
Oven dried cherry tomatoes, Prepared
0oz
Pea Tendril & Greens Blend, Prepared
1each
Johnny Cake (Hoe Cake), Prepared
1tbsp
Scallions, Bias cut
0oz
Butter
0tsp
Basil oil
 
Fresh ground black pepper, To tatse

Instructions


  1. 01Heat the sausage patties.
  2. 02Scramble the eggs in the butter with the caramelized onions and the roasted tomatoes, add the cheese at the end.
  3. 03Heat the Johnny cake
  4. 04To Assemble:
  5. 05Place the sausage on a warm serving plate.
  6. 06Add half the scramble on top of the sausage.
  7. 07Top with the Johnny cake.
  8. 08Top the cake with the remaining scramble.
  9. 09Top with the pea tendril mix and scallions.
  10. 10Season with the fresh ground black pepper.
  11. 11Drizzle the basil oil over the tendrils.
  12. 12Serve
