Classic Reuben

4 oz Boar's Head 1st Cut Corned Beef Brisket, Thinly Sliced
2 oz Boar's Head Gold Label Imported Swiss Cheese, Sliced
2 oz Boar's Head Sauerkraut, Drained
Caraway Seeds, Optional
2 oz Thousand Island Dressing
2 slices Rye
1 oz Butter, unsalted, Softened
Directions Directions
  • Makes one sandwich.
  • Butter one side of each slice of rye bread and place one slice of the bread buttered side down on a flat surface.
  • Add ingredients in the following order:
  • 1oz. of Thousand Island Dressing, Corned Beef, Sauerkraut (with optional caraway seeds added if desired), Gold Label Swiss cheese, and an additional 1 oz. of Thousand Island dressing. Crown the sandwich with the remaining slice of rye, buttered side up.
  • Preheat a sauté pan over medium-high heat and heat sandwich approximately 3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the ingredients are heated through.
