Ovengold Panini

Ovengold® Panini

Ingredients
1 teaspoon Olive oil
½ small Sweet onion, sliced
½ small Green bell pepper, sliced
½ small Red pepper, sliced
½ teaspoon Garlic cloves, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Oregano, to taste
2 slices Crusty Italian bread
4 slices Boar's Head Ovengold® Turkey Breast
1 slice Boar's Head Picante Provolone Cheese
Non-stick cooking spray

Add oil to a sauté pan and heat over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add the onions, peppers and garlic and sauté until vegetables are soft, approximately 4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Remove from heat and set aside. Place slices of Ovengold Turkey on one slice of bread; then top with the sautéed vegetables. Cover vegetables with a slice of cheese and then crown sandwich with the remaining bread slice. Preheat a sandwich press or heavy skillet to medium-high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. When hot, place the sandwich on sandwich press and close. If using a skillet, place sandwich on skillet and use a plate or another skillet to press the sandwich. Cook for 5-8 minutes, keeping sandwich pressed; after 3-4 minutes you may want to flip the sandwich for even grilling.
