Southwestern Turkey Salsa Surprise



  • Lettuce
  • 8 oz Boar's Head Ovengold® Turkey Breast
  • 6 oz Boar's Head Muenster Cheese
  • Salsa Dressing
  • Pitted black olives
  • Taco chips
  • Salsa Dressing:
  • 1 small tomato
  • ½ medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ green bell pepper
  • ¼1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbs white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp water
  • salt, pepper

  • Make dressing by finely chopping tomato, onion, garlic and green pepper together in small bowl and toss with olive oil, vinegar, ¼ teaspoon of water, salt and pepper to taste. Place in refrigerator while preparing the rest of the salad.
  • Wash and tear 4 to 5 leaves of lettuce into each bowl. Julienne turkey breast and cheese and spread over lettuce. Arrange taco chips around edge of bowl. Top with salsa dressing. Decorate with black olives. For a spicier dish, use jalapeños instead of bell peppers.
