Diabetes Focus 2011 Healthy Food Award
Boar's Head Black Forest Brand 25% Lower Sodium Smoked Ham received the Diabetes Focus 2011 Healthy Food Award. It was noted as being dietician approved for being lower in sugar, carbs and saturated fat along with a high ranking in a taste test. The ham was described as "with a hint of sweetness, this low-calorie ham works best in almost any sandwich."
Self Magazine (June 2011)
Boar's Head Ovengold® Turkey Breast was voted Best Deli Turkey in Self magazine's Healthy Food Awards 2011. Panelists said this "addicting" turkey had a "unique spicy taste." Pile a few slices on whole-wheat bread or dice it for a high-in-protein salad topper.

Boar's Head Kosher Dill Whole Pickles was voted the winner in a blind taste test. "These kosher dills were, tasters summed up, 'salty, sour, and crunchy' - everything a dill pickle should be."
Woman's World (May 2010)
Woman's World magazine touted Boar's Head Lite Beef Frankfurters as one of the best healthy hot dogs. According to hot dog blogger, Mike Wick, "They have a strong garlic flavor - almost hot. After the initial burst of heat hits you, it lets up and you get this hearty beef taste."
Cooking Light (April 2011)
Cooking Light named their top choices for lower sodium foods and Boar's Head All Natural Cap-Off Top Round Oven Roasted Beef made the list. The flavor was described as, "It tastes like a Sunday supper roast that grandma baked from scratch."

Boar's Head EverRoast® Oven Roasted Chicken Breast was voted the Best New Product in the Deli Category in the Better Homes and Gardens 2010 Best New Product Award. Boar's Head Kosher Dill Whole Pickles are a bite above the rest. Cooks Illustrated and Cooks Country magazines taste tested five national brands looking for the best kosher dill pickle and our Kosher Dill Whole Pickles were named the best.

Real Simple magazine named Boar's Head Savory Remoulade Cajun Style Mayonnaise as the best cook-out condiment for shrimp. "Who needs a tartar sauce? Instead, try this distinctive 'Nawlins-style dip, redolent of paprika, red pepper, and mustard."

AOL Food Editors Choose Boar's Head Delicatessen Style Mustardas Best in Deli/Brown Category. Five Dozen Mustard Varieties Sampled in National Taste Test 2009.
Heart Healthy Living (Summer 2009)
Boar's Head Lite Skinless Beef Frankfurters were named Lowest in Sodium by Heart Health Living magazine. "This skinless beef frank is one of the lowest-sodium wieners in supermarkets and has half the fat (6 grams versus 13 grams) of standard beef hot dogs. It's also dairy-free and gluten-free."
